New Office!
To build great products you need a great place!
And today we are thrilled to announce that we officially moved into our new office in Legnano, Piazza Gianfranco Ferrè 6 . This office represents more than just walls, it marks a renewed commitment to innovation, comfort, and growth, a place we can call home or more specifically PRAGMA-HOME.
The journey started in early 2024, back then we decided it was time to look for a new office, and boy when we saw this office in Legnano we immediately fall in love, we wanted it at any cost… not because of the condition of the office (it was in quite a bad shape actually, see images below) but mainly because of the context, the location, the potential. So, as good software engineers we abstracted everything and imagined the big picture, it was amazing in our heads…
Making the offer…
We discussed and did our math and handed an official offer the 19th of May 2024 … and waited, and waited patiently until we finally got a half-positive feedback, negotiated it through until we reached a final agreement, the 18th of November 2024 was officially ours, what a feeling!
Then the most joyful and frustrating phase started, from one side you are happily looking for furniture, lights contacting suppliers, from the other side you have to find construction workers, electricians, plumbers, paper work, permits, discuss dates, priorities, dependencies, costs and so on and if you think thats the complex part wait until you start the execution part oh boy!
And we are in…
It took way more than expected, but in the end everything unfolded seamlessly. Each piece of the puzzle clicked into place, and I can now finally write this blog post from our new office, our second home, or maybe the first (depending on the day!).
The new office will give us more enthusiasm to continue delivering the best products and solutions to our customers, we are already feeling it! by the way, if you are around feel free to pass to say hi and drink a coffee! remember, we are in Piazza Gianfranco Ferrè, 6, Legnano (Milano).
Through this journey we met amazing people who helped us a lot, people who are used to deal with big, really big companies but still although we are an SMB treated us equally or even better, I am not going to mention names but if you need furniture or lights be assured that those two companies, at least for us, are the best:
ZumTobel (https://www.zumtobel.com/)
Architect Giovanna Franco Repellini (https://www.giovannafrancorepellini.it/)
Welcome to PRAGMA-HOME
No more words, I will let the pictures speak…
